Customers have asked us for integration between FogBugz and Trello since the beginning of time (or at least, since we first launched Trello). As they say, your wish is our command!

Running FogBugz Ocelot? Here’s how you get started:

Setting up the FogBugz Power-Up

To add the powers of FogBugz to your Trello board, you’ll need to enable the Power-Up.

Authorizing

Once enabled, you’ll need to tell Trello what account you’d like to use. Click the Gear menu to insert this information. Instructions to create a FogBugz token are here.

If you are coming to a Trello board that already has the FogBugz power-up enabled, and is just missing your credentials, it will show you case numbers with no further information, like so:

clicking “See case details…” here will allow you to enter your token information.

Adding Cases

Once you’ve got the two accounts linked, you can add FogBugz cases by clicking the FogBugz Power-Up in a card. You will be able to search for cases using the same syntax as regular FogBugz search. Clicking on cases will allow them to be added to the card.

Alternatively, case URLs can be dragged into a card and will be added automatically!

Once cases are added to the card, they will show the case number and name, amount of time remaining or status, assignee, and time of last edit. The front of the card will show the number of cases with a Kiwi logo.

Clicking on a case in Trello will take you directly to the case in FogBugz!

Removing Authorization

At any point, you can remove Trello’s access to your FogBugz account by clicking the “Reset personal settings…” link in the Power-Up. If you have revoked that token, you can input a new one for Trello to use by going to the Gear icon. You can also use this menu to completely disable the FogBugz Power-Up.

Please note that the FogBugz Power-Up for Trello requires FogBugz Ocelot and is not compatible with FogBugz For Your Server.
